Gaothan Life – Khotachiwadi

A fantastic video of life in Khotachiwadi, an East Indian Gaothan. With every passing year most of the houses have been developed but it’s great to have community members who have Preserved and Restored their Gaothan Houses.

East Indian Band of the Year 2018 – Valentine Music Makers
This award will be presented to one of the Best Bands of our Community

*Established on St.Valentine’s day 33 years ago this band now consists of 30 members
*They specialize in East Indian and other vernacular Indian music
*They have performed in Mumbai, Gujarat, Nagpur and Rajastan
*They have won the “Best East Indian Band” in the Annual Competition for three years now.

The Band Master of Valentine Music Makers, Russel Dmello(left on the photo) was presented this Award by Ashish Shelar, Bandra West MLA and BJP Mumbai President.
